Shakespeare in the Summer: Stratford and Buffalo:
Would you like to see all six of the wonderful summer Shakespeare productions in the local area with like-minded companions and an expert guide?
UB's College of Arts and Sciences Summer Workshops has arranged a program combining attendance at both productions of this summer's Shakespeare in the Park here in Buffalo--The Merchant of Venice and As You Like It--with a luxury three-day trip to the Shakespeare Festival in Stratford, Ontario, from July 15th to July 17th to see all four of the Shakespeare productions there--Richard III, Titus Andronicus, The Merry Wives of Windsor, and Twelfth Night--under the guidance of award-winning Shakespeare Professor Barbara Bono. Proceeds will support UB's long-standing membership in the Folger Institute.*
The package includes the best tickets in the house, two night's lodging
at Stratford's historic Queen's Inn, pre- and post-play lectures and
discussions, three pub lunches, and tours of the Stratford Festival
Theater and Costume Warehouse.
