Just Buffalo Literary Center has been serving the literary and educational communities of the Buffalo/Niagara region since 1975.  Like many of the arts organizations in Buffalo, we are facing steep cuts from the Erie County Legislature this week. We stand to lose $50,000 a year after the vote this week, barring a minor miracle. County money supports the infrastructure, staffing and marketing of all our essential programs: Literary Buffalo E-Newsletter, Poster, & Web Calendar Babel Writers in Education Big Night Writing With Light Wordplay The Members Writer Critique Group The Annual Member Writing Contest The Gray Hair Reading Series The Center For Inquiry Literary Cafe Wordflight These programs will still be here after the dust has settled, but we need your help more than at any other time in recent memory to help us recover from this shortfall.
