Greetings! 

It's still January and hopefully you've started working on your New Year's business resolutions. Of course, every business wants to be more successful year over year, whether that's increased revenue, expansion into new product or service areas, being able to reward your employees in new ways, or, if you're a non-profit, increasing your donor or volunteer contributions. What are your plans to reach those goals for your business this year?

rose-colored glassesDoes your website need a facelift? Has it been a while since any new content has been added or existing content updated? Maybe you're just not getting the visitors to the site that you used to. Have you had some new ideas running around in your head but just haven't quite solidified them into a plan yet.  

 

Put some new eyes on your website. Get feedback from your customers (yes, your customers), your friends, your family. Got kids? They're pretty internet savvy. Send them to your website and see what they say about it.  

 

Check your competitors' websites. What do they have that you don't?  

 

Have a discussion with your web designer and put together a plan for improvement.

Even if you don't have a Constant Contact account or plan on sending out an email campaign, this Playbook has some great things to think about for your business. Step through the Playbook and tell me it doesn't get you thinking at least 1 new thought for your business.

 

I had a hard time answering some of the questions myself, which got me thinking about why I couldn't answer them and if I had done the appropriate business planning. Check it out for yourself.

Just remember that nothing will get done until you take action on it. So, git 'er done!
