Habitat Toronto is holding a ReTooling Blitz Info Session on June 10th from 1:30p.m. - 2:30 p.m., at the Malvern Family Resource Centre, 1371 Neilson Rd. This is your chance to learn how you can get involved and give back to your community through volunteering.

| Skip that trip to the florist and give to Habitat Toronto instead! |
It's true that the Mother's Day Build being held this Sunday May 9th is full... but you can still support Habitat Toronto in celebration of the moms in your life by making a Mother's Day donation!
When you make a Mother's Day donation in your mom's/wife's/sister's name, a card* will be sent to your mom to let her know of your generous gift. Your donation will celebrate your mom by ensuring other mothers living in need receive a hand up, not a hand out.
So forget that bouquet of tulips this year and instead make a gift that truly keeps on giving.
* Habitat for Humanity Toronto is not able to ensure cards will be delivered by Sunday, May 9th, 2010.

| Crew Leader Corner | | |
Mary Anne Gualtieri started volunteering with Habitat Toronto in the cold winter months of 2007 at the 4200 Kingston Rd. build site. This started her new routine of coming out to build every Tuesday & Friday. Mary Anne was aware of Habitat for Humanity's work abroad, but wanted to affect change in her own community.
Mary Anne has worked as a Crew Leader on almost every Habitat Toronto build site over the past two years such as 4200 Kingston Rd., Pilkington, Peddicord, Hainford and now at William's Way.
Crew Leaders are invited to attend the Floor Framing Course being held in May at the William's Way build site. Click here to learn more or contact Arundel Gibson, VP of People at 416-755-7353 ext. 266 or agibson@torontohabitat.on.ca |
