Thank you
to our volunteers, donors and supporters who gave a hand up, not a hand out this past year. Together we were able to change the lives of 84 hard-working Toronto families living in need. We are truly grateful for your enduring hard work and generosity.

Our work is far from finished though and we need your help to continue to make a tangible difference and build homes and hope in 2010.

A Hopeful New Beginning
Harun Family StoryMaryan Harun (pictured here with Alan Convery from home donor TD Bank Financial Group) had just finished her law studies at Gahayr Univerisity in her home country of Somalia when civil war broke out. This caused many families, including Maryan's, to flee to the Kenyan border to escape the violence. With support from her family and friends and strong hope for a new future, Maryan was able to travel from Kenya to New York and finally made her way to Canada.
