Sneak Peek - Show House Is Opened

Greetings!

As you know I have been working on a bedroom in the Designer Showhouse in Westchester. Twenty Interior Designers have decorated the rooms each in their own style. Come and share the fantasy. Your $30 donation benefits the Cerebral Palsy of Westchester organization.

The Showhouse is now open for visitors and I'm so excited to have you come and visit this fabulous 11,000 square foot home complete with outdoor kitchen, pool, pool house and adult tree house.

The color palette of cream and aqua was chosen for its soothing properties. The focal point is the 19th century Japanese screen, which serves both as the headboard but also artwork.

The walls were striaed a custom glaze with mica mineral powders providing luminosity to the entire room. The ceiling incorporates both silver and gold metallic glaze adding depth and warmth.

The silk Oriental Tibetan rug complements and pulls together all of the other elements in the room.

On Saturday May 7th, there was an opening Gala Preview party. The night was fabulous and all the Designers and guests had a grand time.
