Ask the Designer

Q: Any suggestions for how I can decorate my front door for the holidays?

A: You can purchase mixed greens garland and wreath from your local nursery. Then the fun and personalization can begin.

Select pine cones, berries- maybe red , gold and bronze, silver leaves and if you like a few birds, pears, or apples to add to your greenery.

Your nursery can create a bow for you or you can purchase ribbon yourself. I recommend the ones with French wire so you can shape the bow and curl the ends.

If you have children, they might enjoy some of Santa's reindeer on their front lawn. You can purchase these at your local nursery. I know Perennial Gardens in Bedford carries them.
The deer are made of wire and then covered in moss- small, medium and large and decked out with a red ribbon.
