Champions Prayer - Friday, August 31 at 7 pm Parents will meet before each home varsity football game to pray for the safety and health of the Landmark team and our opponents.  Prayer will take place at the foot of the steps leading to the field near Thorn statue. 

Elementary Night at Varsity Home Football Game

Friday, August 31 - Kickoff at 7:30 pm vs. Athens Christian
(This is a blue and gold dress-as-you-like day for all elementary students.)

Landmark's First Home Cross Country Meet
Saturday, September 1 at 8 am
Landmark Athletic Complex

To commemorate our first home cross country meet, there will be an elementary 1-mile run and open 5K.  

10:00     Elementary boys and girls 1 mile

10:30     Open 5K

Registration for the elementary mile and open 5k will be at the race site the morning of the race. We would love to have LCS faculty, students, and parents run! The elementary mile race fee is $5 and the open 5k is $15.

Fine Arts Friday biscuit sales:
Please be aware that as food prices have increased nationwide, so have the price of chicken biscuits.  As of tomorrow, the prices have increased by $.25 for the items sold by the Fine Arts department.  The new prices are as follows: 
Chicken biscuit - $2.50
Sausage biscuit - $2.50
Hot chocolate - $1.50

Service Project Benefiting Children's Home

This year the Junior Beta Club's first service project is a collection drive for the Georgia Baptist Children's Home in Palmetto.  Middle school discipleship classes are asked to donate non-perishable food items, hygiene products, or school supplies. Collection dates are Sept. 4 - Sept. 14.  The discipleship class collecting the most items will be treated to a breakfast of donuts and orange juice.  Please direct all questions to Cathy Northcutt,

High school all-inclusive trip to Utah and Arizona (Bryce, Colorado River, Sedona, Grand Canyon) May 9-June 3, 2013. 
Deposit of $99 due by September 21, 2012, and will be applied to the total trip cost of $2059.  Interested parents are welcome to attend as well and their cost is $2309. Please contact Tammy Mercure for a trip itinerary, registration information or with questions. tmercure@landmark-cs.org

It's time for senior ads! Photos and payments submitted to the yearbook staff by Friday, September 14th, will receive a $25 ad discount.
