(This is a blue and gold dress-as-you-like day for all elementary students.)

Landmark Athletic Complex
Open 5K for Landmark families and faculty begins at 10:30 am. Cost to enter is $15. More info to follow.

***The Landmark calendar on the school website is always the best source of information for upcoming events, especially to see the schedules of our various sports teams.  Practice or game cancellations are first posted there.  Please check it often. 
General Info:

Fine Arts Friday biscuit sales:
Please be aware that as food prices have increased nationwide, so have the price of chicken biscuits.  As of tomorrow, the prices have increased by $.25 for the items sold by the Fine Arts department.  The new prices are as follows: 
Chicken biscuit - $2.50
Sausage biscuit - $2.50
Hot chocolate - $1.50

Georgia GOAL:  As of today, only $1,033,942 of the $50 million cap for Georgia GOAL tax credits remain for approval.  If you are interested in designating a portion of your Georgia state tax liability to help students transfer to Landmark from a public school, please visit the Georgia GOAL website at www.goalscholarship.org.  The process is now paperless but you should act quickly to take advantage of this opportunity. There are currently seven students who are attending Landmark thanks to the GOAL scholarship program. 

The after school care program in Fairburn has two private piano lesson spots remaining.  Please email Connie Cates at ccates@landmark-cs.org for more information.

Reminders:
Please do not park in the Fairburn First Baptist Church small parking lot at the corner of Malone and Greene streets, even if only for a minute.  This lot is for church staff and church business only.  Please park in the large lot behind the church if you need to come in to the school.

ATHLETICS:
  • The first installment of the South Fulton High School Football Preview is on the air. It can be seen starting tonight at 8:00pm on the Fulton Community Channel on Comcast Cable 25. This segment features Landmark Christian School's War Eagles. 
GUIDANCE:
  • Landmark's Guidance Department and School Match 4U are collaborating to offer our high school students Kaplan's SAT and ACT review courses this Fall.  Classes begin this Saturday, August 25.  For more information please see the Guidance and College Planning page on the log-in side of Landmark's website.
