Microsoft Dynamics GP Tip
|
Remove means Delete!
In all but three places in Dynamics GP, when
a user elects to Remove records, the record is being DELETED from the
system. In three places, Paid
Transaction Removal, Reconcile/Remove Sales Documents, Remove Completed
Purchase Orders, if history is being kept, the transactions are actually moved
from open tables to history tables. Yet
in all other places, Remove means Delete.

Newsletter - November 2009
|
|
Greetings!
Greetings!
Is your company dynamic? Is it energized? Is it continually changing, growing,
adapting? Does it look different this
year than it did this past November?
It should. After the tumultuous year we've just experienced
in the business world, it undoubtedly does.
But what triggered your business strategic shifts? An ailing economy? Decreased demand? Or were your modifications employed in order
to grow, to shift focus, or to conquer?
As we welcome family and friends to gather around our tables
for the feast of Thanksgiving this month, it is time to think about what drives
our dynamism. As we give thanks for the rebounding economy
and hopeful economic forecast, we focus this newsletter on productive
change.
We encourage you to contact us when your dynamic tactics require technological
support, and look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Ann Haucke The Resource Group

When Free Doughnuts and Casual Fridays Aren't Enough: How to Motivate Your Employees
|
|
The employer-employee relationship is fodder for
all types of comic writing. It's a
complicated relationship demanding a difficult combination of direction,
criticism, praise, compensation, and friendship. Satirists have made millions poking fun at
the many ways the mentor-mentee connection can go horribly wrong (think Steve
Carell on The Office). Here, we offer ten ways you can be the
most-loved manager in the industry while also increasing employee
productivity. Yes, you can do both. Continue to article.

Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 (GP 11) Preview
|
|
Want to learn more about Microsoft
Dynamics GP 11? This release focuses on
feature functionality combined with taking our Dynamics GP 10 innovations to
the next level.
Here are some of the features for Microsoft Dynamics GP 11.0.
- Printing a GP form (such as a Sales Order) to
Microsoft Office Word, along with giving users the ability to print any
GP report/form to Word if they so choose.
- Emailing groups of documents (such as Purchase
Orders) with just the click of a button (tons of functionality behind this...stay
tuned for more).
-
Allowing those you do business with to login to
their own Customer or Vendor Portal, where they can view key information related
to their transactions in Dynamics GP, or even make changes to select data
within your system (a vendor updating the shipping dates on a PO for example).
-
Charts, graphs and gauges galore! Entirely
new charts, graphs and gauges will be available on both the Business Portal
dashboards as well as the Dynamics GP homepage.
-
Want to get more details after viewing the new
charts, graphs, or gauges? Version "11" will allow you to drill down from those
graphical elements to reports that contain the detailed transaction data behind
it, and then drill down all the way from those reports back into the Dynamics
GP inquiry windows!

Microsoft Dynamics GP 11.0 and its time line for deployment contact Ann Hauke.
