Retrofit Your YAG or CO2 Laser & Enjoy All the Benefits of IPG's QCW Fiber Laser

IPG's new Quasi Continuous Wave (QCW) pulsed fiber lasers are changing the face of the industrial laser industry as they are more efficient and effective than the old YAG and CO2 lasers. In fact, IPG's QCW laser was just awarded the 2010 Prism Award for Photonics Innovation in the Industrial Lasers category.

The QCW lasers perform laser welding, cutting, and drilling applications better and faster than older flash lamp-pumped and diode pumped YAG and CO2 technology. The QCW laser has a dramatically small footprint: the entire laser is a 19" rack mount, air-cooled package with over 30% wall plug efficiency vs. flash lamp's 3% efficiency. Existing systems require only a simple upgrade to the beam delivery system and a new QCW laser can be installed and operational in only a matter of days.

IPG's QCW Retrofit program allows most widely used flash lamp, diode pumped or CO2 lasers to be replaced with our maintenance free QCW fiber lasers. New Fiber Lasers and Systems may qualify for a tax writeoff as well - check with your tax advisor for exact details of US Tax Code Section 179. This program allows the client to keep their existing workstation and upgrade it with a new, highly cost effective QCW fiber laser. IPG can also help if an entirely new system is required for your application.
