Albatross at Midway Atoll

Dear ,

Last week we told you about the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. This week we're showing you one deadly consequence and giving you the chance to do something about it.

This albatross baby is one of many that die in the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands after their parents feed them plastic they've mistaken for food.

Thousands of miles from the nearest continent, and in the middle of the largest marine protected area in the United States (which MCBI helped establish), these creatures and many others like them are dying.

MCBI is fighting to get more federal funding for government agencies to clean up marine debris -- today.

Say YES to helping critically endangered albatrosses and support our efforts to deal with marine debris.
