Accent is Proud of its Pelotons!  
 
On August 29 & 30, Frank Goode, Accent's President, and Frank & Steve at PelotoniaSteve Hearst, VP of Sales, took part in Pelotonia, the grass roots bike tour with one goal: to end cancer.  The bike tour, from Columbus to Athens and back, was kicked off by cycling legend Lance Armstrong, a cancer survivor. Frank and Steve were joined by 2,263 other riders.  
 
"Like all the other riders, Steve and I wanted to do something to help defeat this monster that has touched us all in some way. Little did we know the riding experience would change our lives like it has," said Frank Goode. "From the presence of Lance Armstrong, to the number of riders, to the huge group of dedicated volunteers, to all the folks along the way cheering us on...the experience was awe-inspiring."  
 
Steve HearstTo date, Frank and Steve have raised about $2,425 of their $4,000 goal, and every dollar will go directly toward cancer research at OSU's  Comprehensive Cancer Center - The James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute.  They wish to thank everyone who sponsored them or any of the other Pelotons.  It's not too late to donate to this cause.  Click here  if you'd like to help Frank or Steve reach their goal. Accent Completes Its Largest Installation 
 
Accent recently completed the installation of a ShoreTel phone system at Sinclair Community College (SCC) in Dayton, its largest installation to date. With six locations throughout southwest Ohio and a need for about 2200 phones, SCC needed a system that would give them flexibility, efficiency, and ease of use. 
 
SCC chose a ShoreTel system because of its state-of-the-art technology.  Having to get the phone system installed and implemented at one of their remote sites before their main site, they liked ShoreTel's distributed architecture, which enabled them to cost-effectively and efficiently meet their deployment requirements. With ShoreTel, they were able to leverage their investment regardless of which sites they implemented first. Sinclair was also able to use about 900 of their existing analog phones, which was a big cost savings.  The ease of administering and maintaining the ShoreTel system was also a reason for opting for this system.

ShoreTel is currently working on a case study of this project. 
When completed, it will be posted on our website.  We're sure it will show why ShoreTel beat out its competitors and was Sinclair Community College's #1 choice in telephony.
