Like April and Rebecca, who consistently receive high ranks not only for grooming expertise but also for customer service, Stephanie is poised to use her experience as a bather, groomer, salon manager and grooming instructor to make sure dogs and humans alike are happy with their
Rub-a-Dub-Dog Bathhouse and Spa experience.
Stephanie's grooming talent is second only to her tenderness and compasion for our furry friends. Though grooming occupies her passion and she plans to pursue her Master Grooming Certification in the coming years, Stephanie previously worked at veterinary clinics and attended school to train as a certified veterinary technichian in Phoenix, AZ. This experience assists her in working with the older, frail dogs that tend to seek out her gentle touch.
Stephanie is such a softy with our furry friends that she has taken in not one, not two, not three but FOUR stray or unwanted animals into her home over the years. Along with the one cat that she adopted from a shelter in Phoenix, Stephanie and her husband Tony share their home with three dogs and two cats.
Despite having so many furry friends to love at home, Stephanie confesses that she gets very attached to her grooming clients. It's clear that the feelings are mutual since many of her clients have already contacted us to schedule appointments with Stephanie once she starts work at Rub-a-Dub-Dog tomorrow.
The
Rub-a-Dub-Dog Bathhouse and Spa is open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 6pm and sees clients by appointment only. We do not use cages for drying or containment and all of our canine clients get one-on-one personal attention from their groomer.
