On behalf of the Georgia Career Development Association's Board, welcome to the first electronic edition of our quarterly newsletter, CAREER CONNECTIONS. We hope you will find these updates useful for your personal and professional life. If you have information you'd like to contribute for a future edition, please let us know.
 
Here you will find more information about upcoming opportunities and reviews of past programs. If you need to renew your membership, please do it now and save money. Memberships are still $40 until June 30. Effective July 1, membership will increase to $55 to help us provide more programs and services in the coming year.
 
The Board and I welcome your input and your participation in the organization and certainly look forward to seeing you at our annual Kick-off and Social Networking event on August 28 at Oglethorpe University's Museum.

John Krumboltz GCDA welcomed John Krumboltz as their guest workshop leader for the annual Professional Development Institute on May 15. An overflow audience heard this esteemed speaker introduce his latest theory (Happenstance Learning Theory) in an entertaining and thought-provoking style.
