Neptune-Benson donates Defender filter to
Give Kids The World Village pool expansion
Coventry, RI - February 24, 2010 - Neptune-Benson, Inc., leading manufacturer of commercial pool filtration systems, is pleased to donate a Defender filter for the new pool at Give Kids The World Village.
Give Kids The World (GKTW), located in Kissimmee, FL recently completed its new Village pool and splash play expansion project. The zero-depth pool and splash play area holds more than 83,000 gallons of water and provides children of all abilities the chance to play.

In order to help GKTW Village be as environmentally friendly as possible while ensuring impeccable water quality, the Defender automatic regenerative media filter was chosen for the project. Defender provides safe, efficient filtration while reducing space requirements, water consumption and energy demand, thereby keeping costs down for the long-term, another issue important to Village operations.
Neptune-Benson's President, Barry Gertz says, "Being a family business ourselves, we were eager to assist with GKTW's new Village pool. As one of the premier wish-granting organizations in the country, we are proud to be named one of the GKTW Expansion Heroes."
The donation of the Defender filter continues the gifting tradition by Neptune-Benson to GKTW. The grand opening of the new pool and splash play venue will be celebrated March 7, 2010
