Smith Hill Library and the PCL
The next Board meeting of the Providence Community Library will be at the Smith Hill Library, located at 30 Candace St. on Wednesday, January 20 from 6-7:30pm.
This is a great opportunity to drop by and experience real community activism at work. There is also, as always, a public comment section at the end of the meeting in case you have any questions or want to share library experiences.
The Providence Community Libraries (all the neighborhood libraries except Central) are in the first year of new management. The new organization is community-based and a truly democratic institution.
Please get involved!
