As part of Atlanta Celebrates Photography, I will display photographs and information about the Georgia State Parks at the REI Perimeter in Atlanta. The show will open on Sept. 3rd. I will present a slide show and discussion on Tues., Oct. 18, but you need to preregister for this event once the October events are added to REI's site.

Marietta Art in the Park

I've juried into three upcoming Atlanta art festivals (and Charlotte and Birmingham too), so check out my show schedule and make plans to attend. Marietta Art in the Park is in its 25th year. The show is located on the square in Marietta over the Labor Day weekend. Lots of easy parking. Check out their website. |

I am so excited to be juried into this prestigious show! This past Spring I captured these pretty dogwood trees for the first time. This photograph was taken in Marietta, Georgia and has juried into the Slow Exposures Photography Show slated for September 16 - 23, 2011. There were 745 submissions and 70 images selected.
