How Long for Questions? - A Good Rule of Thumb

How long during a meeting should you allow people to ask questions?

After about 10 minutes of questions, most people in the meeting are ready to move on with it. Speakers allow questions to go on far too long for audience attention and comfort.

Of course, this rule of thumb depends on a variety of factors and is not a hard and fast rule: The more I think about it, stop the questions after five minutes.
