Even the best verbal communication falls flat without supporting action to back it up. Hollow words vs. walk the talk. On the other hand, stand by your word; and inspire. A classic case: Although today my dad celebrates his 60th wedding anniversary alone; since Mother passed away June 3, he could have written the book on keeping your word. Dad doesn't remember actually proposing back in 1949. He says with a grin, "I think she asked me." Although he was too poor for an engagement ring, Mother often explained he instead won her heart with her favorite chocolate-toffee, Heath candy bar--along with a promise to provide for her in the future. Dad delivered and then some. They mutually adored and delighted one another for more than six decades.
Trust, it takes your breath away.
