Bill Klaers and James Stewart from the Cockpit
Greetings! ,
There is so much great news to share so we hope you will followup this newsletter with frequent visits to our recently modified website. We are constantly meeting dedicated and talented people who understand the importance of capturing and telling the story of aviation in World War II. Visitors soon understand our specific museum focus on how resources, manpower, and individual talents were assembled to produce the arsenal of equipment and people required to win the war. There have been significant additions and improvements to our museum website. Check out the News section for an update on events. We have included a Frequently Asked Questions section as well as a section which documents accomplishments to date. Your comments of support for the Museum project have resulted in an Endorsement section where you can advocate for the Museum. We get lots of requests for briefings and tours so there is now an area for electronic signup. This is a work in progress so if you have other ideas, please share them with us. Please continue to visit our website as we make it interactive and user friendly for capturing pictures and stories you may want to share with future generations. As you may know, the museum now owns three hangars which will be an intricate part of the project when fully implemented. We also have onsite many of the artifacts which will be on display. This museum is about the human story and contribution so your personal stories about efforts from those you love are central to this Museum.
