Priority Work to Fix Up the Church and Children's House
Outside Maintenance
ask neighbor to move shrub so sign will be visible
designate where parking will be for first month
mark parking and handicap parking
Painting
finish painting the rooms
scrape and clean all exterior windows
caulk and paint bead board ceiling
paint window sills outside
paint quarter round in front room
repaint walls in foyer same color in sanctuary (to cover up water damage above entry doors to sanctuary)
paint front door of sanctuary (outside) more appealing color
paint all vents/return grid
Building Repairs
measure and cut glass and replace broken window in front and window panes(Bob)
repair closet doors in back room
add light fixture in front room
cover or replace outlets/child proof
get batteries and test smoke alarms
install CO2 alarms
clean and disinfect bathrooms and kitchen
remove doors to entry going into sanctuary
repair and paint damage to wall above doors,
permanently fix sliding doors in gathering rooms and get rid of black pipes
remove swivel doors in sanctuary
replace broken kitchen window
have screen moved back 4 feet
repair wall damage
Inside Clean-up / Decorating
get carpet cleaned before putting furniture inside manse
place furniture in children's classrooms
add more lamps, indoor plants or arrangements(Gregg to check on decorator & florist)
remove old art and stage with new décor
clean lamps on Front Entrance inside and out
put plants in front of speakers
move pastor chairs to manse in the entry hall
change out bulbs in chandeliers/clean chandeliers
clean floor in fellowship hall (sand paper and tape stuck from VBS)
clean and update all bulletin boards
