Three New Alumni Scholarships!

Alumni Referral Scholarship

referral voucherHere is a terrific opportunity to become a partner with KCU in the training of future Christian leaders. The KCU Alumni Student Referral Voucher is a simple way for you to encourage young people to enroll at KCU.  Simply click the image, print off the voucher, and give it to prospective students. Completed, qualified vouchers are good for an additional $500 scholarship on the student's first full-time semester at KCU. Vouchers must contain the alumni information requested on the form to be valid. Qualifying students must be:

  • Enrolled full time
  • Non-Alumni related students (students of Alumni can apply for the Alumni Dependent Scholarships described below beginning in the Fall of 2009)
  • New students only
  • Undergraduate students only

Vouchers must be presented with the student's application for enrollment, and are applicable beginning with the 2009 Fall Semester.

We hope you'll use this valuable tool by passing it on to prospective students as you encourage them to consider KCU and Christian higher education. Click the image to print a pdf of the voucher or simply find it by visiting the Alumni & Friends page at www.kcu.edu. Kudos to Ivan Spencer ('91) for already passing this along to a prospective student!

Upcoming Events
New Day Women's Conference - March 27th & 28th

New Day 3

Kentucky Christian University is proud to announce our New Day Conference for Women on March 27th and 28th. We have a terrific lineup of events planned; click here or the image above for details, including schedule, registration and housing information.

New Day Conference for Women is an annual event. Women enjoy a weekend of fellowship, worship, and workshops. Check out the link above for details of the weekend and plan to join us!

Our Speaker - Julie Gariss comes from Joplin, Missouri where she and her husband, Randy, have worked with the College Heights Christian Church for the last twenty-six years. Randy is the preaching minister and Julie stays involved with the congregation teaching women's Bible studies, Sunday School and working on the women's ministry team. Julie has a passion for teaching the Word of God and it is this calling that has taken her all over the United States speaking at women's retreats, conventions and banquets. Julie genuinely enjoys introducing her audiences to one of her favorite characters, Gladys Frump, who somehow manages to say what needs to be said in a rather "entertaining" manner!

Music and Worship - The KCU Concert Choir is always one of the highlights when they perform at this event so we have invited them to lead us in worship, under the direction of Dr. Mark Deakins, and present our special music. Friday evening we will be blessed with a concert by the KCU Concert Choir. We're sure this will be an uplifting time during our Friday evening and Saturday main sessions.
