Spring out in Color for the Ladies
What's new in color this season?Bright and Pastel color jeans. So are they a do or don't? Do if you are the size of Jennifer Aniston or Cameron Diaz (size 6 and under). You can get these fabulous jeans in a range of colors from orange to pink to blue. If you are going to go with such a strong color statement, make sure the fit is p-e-r-f-e-c-t because you can bet all eyes will be looking and all heads will turn. The best cut is the "skinny" cut. A baggier fit could make you appear larger, especially the lighter the color. And, make the jeans the style focal point. Pair them with neutral color tops such as white, black or gray. Then choose an accessory to bring it all together such as earrings, a bracelet, necklace or scarf.
If you're curvier than a size 6 or if you're not as daring to step out in bold jeans but still want to step into bold spring colors, Spring into Color with accessories. Kendrascott.com has some new. beautiful bold jewelry pieces; and of course my favorite - - LiaSophia.com. You can easily go bold and bright as long as you do it right. So get ready to Spring into Color! Just remember that great spring color style is like a good recipe - mix it well and then play with it to find the right mix of ingredients for your fashion taste buds. The end result is about balance, not to sweet not to salty!

Ron's Corner
It would NEVER be my recommendation for a man to step out in bold bright colored jeans, but don't worry, you have options, too. The secret lies in starting with white jeans. (Yes, real men do wear white jeans.) And nothing then is off-limits as to what you can pair with them. For weekend wear, add a casual printed or plain T. For a classic look, add detail with a stunning casual jacket. If you want to dress up your white jeans, try a dress shirt and blazer. The key is "less is more"; in other words: not to overdo it. Just remember that great spring color style is like a good recipe - mix it well and then play with it to find the right mix of ingredients for your fashion taste buds. The end result is about balance, not to sweet not to salty! |
