Have you come in to explore our Special Spring Extasia Collection? There are some great pieces which we will only have in the store through Saturday April 7.
We are expecting new Spring Clothing to be arriving any day now! New patterns of Erin Macleod wrap around skirts, Comfy Skirts by Bellingham's Texture, as well as some new dresses of the same comfortable organic cotton are on their way. Some new items from Niche, some fun vintage-styled dresses from L.A. and a lightweight cotton tunic will be showing up on our mannequins soon! Can't wait! Second Annual Haiku Contest
In honor of National Haiku Day, April 17 (see below!) we are again having a Haiku poetry writing contest!
Last year we received some fantastic entries, and so would like to invite you all to submit this year, either a hard copy dropped off or mailed to the store, or via email to: crackerjackcrafts@gmail.com.
Winning entries will receive gift certificates to the store which we can tailor to "in store" or online, depending in the winner.
There were some entries last year which everyone liked, but were disallowed because they didn't follow correct form. So count your syllables carefully! Remember, it's 5 - 7 - 5 syllables, and the poem often incorporates a juxtaposition of images. This year, there are no set categories, so use your imagination! We will also post entries on our Facebook page and invite comments and votes from our Facebook Friends.
So get your poems to us by midnight April 30.
