Thanks to everyone who shopped with us on small Business Saturday! We had a very busy day, and many mentioned that they were motivated to be out shopping in particular because of Small Business Saturday.
We received some great media coverage at Wallingford Center, because we are primarily small, locally owned businesses. Judy at 4 Your Eyes Only Optical was quoted as saying that when you support a small business you are supporting an owner who is supporting her staff, who live and spend in the area. You are not sending your dollars out of state to a corporation whose CEO receives a huge bonus (I wish!).
So thank you, thank you, thank you!
The store is all decorated and chock full, the tree is overflowing with ornaments, and I just heard today we received our little mice ornaments! Every year we wait anxiously for them - they have their own schedule, regardless of when we order them. One year they arrived on Christmas Eve! But not to worry - we have so many customers who collect them, they scamper away in no time! Need a gift for that special someone, the hard to shop for person on your list, or stocking stuffers? Get some fresh-for-the-Season ideas!  Holiday Hours begin! Beginning Saturday Dec. 10, we will be open from 10am to 9pm Monday through Saturday, and Sunday 10am to 6pm. Christmas Eve and NewYear's Eve we close at 5pm. We will be Closed on Christmas and New Year's Day.
