About our speakers
Rev. Victoria Safford is minister of White Bear UU, serving there since 1999. She is a
 graduate of Vassar College and Yale Divinity School, and the winner of
numerous sermon awards including, most recently, the UUA's Annual
Program Fund award, and the Unitarian Universalist Sunday School Society. Prior to her 20 years as a UU minister, she was a community organizer with the American Friends Service Committee.
Rev. Safford has spoken on marriage equality on many occasions, including at the Minnesota Capitol. She was one of many People of Faith Allies at the October 8th press conference "coming out" in support of LGBT marriage. MUUSJA has video of her remarks (and Unity's Rev.  The Unity Love Bus Riders were nine couples who traveled with Reverends Janne and Rob Eller-Isaacs of Unity Church Unitarian on August 29th, 2009, to Iowa to be legally wed. We will be joined by two couples, Kelly and Rhonda Kist and Joni and Teresa
Redfern-Hall, and some of their kids, and Unity's Interweave chair Ann Hite. They all rode the bus and have wonderful stories of their experience to share with us.
