Q1 2012 Financial Results in Line with Guidance, Growth 2H
Commenting on the results for the quarter ended March 31, 2012, Ralph Quinsey, President and CEO, stated "Our revenue was better than normal seasonality in the first quarter and we saw signs of improvement in some of our infrastructure markets. While we anticipate a challenging second quarter in the mobile devices market, specifically with our largest customer, I believe this dip will be temporary and remain confident about our long term position. We have achieved design win success with our new products and I believe we will return to normal revenue levels and growth in the second half of 2012."

TriQuint Powers Linearized 3G / 4G Small Cell Solution TriQuint and Scintera have developed a design-ready, high-efficiency solution to power 'small cell' 3G / 4G / LTE base stations. Network operators see small cell base stations as a cost-effective remedy for capacity constraints and a means to enable 4G / LTE data rates. The new solution is the first to use a 12V power supply. TriQuint amplifiers deliver 2W (33dBm) of linear output power, supporting single or multiple carriers with 20 MHz of total signal bandwidth. "This innovation leverages market-tested solutions to simplify RF connectivity. The TriQuint amplifiers are very broadband, so two devices can support all cellular frequencies," said Brian P. Balut, VP, Networks. Contact TriQuint for design-ready, small cell base station RF solutions. View Publication of Linearized PA Solution for 3G / 4G Small Cell BTS (PDF Format).
