TriQuint Revenue Hits New Record in 2011
Up 5% sequentially, $227 million in Q4'11 revenue enables another record year: $896.1 million. Non-GAAP net income for 2011 was $87.3 million, or $0.51 per diluted share. Commenting on the company's financial results, Ralph Quinsey, President and CEO, stated "TriQuint has grown revenue for six consecutive years and in 2011, we expanded our capacity to serve our customers' rising demand. The proliferation of smartphones and emergence of 4G is driving exciting growth in the markets we serve. Global Supplier Award from Sony Ericsson
TriQuint was one of 11 award recipients from the 300 suppliers that were invited to attend the 10th Sony Ericsson Annual Global Supplier Conference in Malmo, Sweden. TriQuint Advances GaN R&D in DARPA 'NEXT'
TriQuint has entered Phase II as prime contractor of DARPA's (NEXT) program to develop radically advanced, mixed-signal digital / RF circuits. TriQuint began Phase II work ahead of schedule. "NEXT devices open-up development for lower-voltage radar and communications products. Beyond NEXT, we are working on GaN-based switching for ultra-high efficiency DC-DC converters integrated with RF amplifiers. The opportunities are exciting," said TriQuint VP and GM for Defense Products & Foundry Services, James L. Klein. |
