TriQuint Q2 2011 Revenue Up 10%

$228.8 million in Q2 revenue led to a 10% increase in non-GAAP net income over Q1 2011. Commenting on the results, Ralph Quinsey, President and Chief Executive Officer, said "Driven by strong demand in the smartphone market, we experienced 10% revenue growth over Q2 2010. Despite short term headwinds, TriQuint's long term growth story remains intact. Based on the current design wins and customer forecasts, I expect to return to strong revenue growth in Q4."

TriQuint Appoints New Defense/Aerospace VP

James Klein was appointed Vice President and General Manager of Defense & Aerospace July 7, 2011. Mr. Klein will report to Ralph Quinsey, President and CEO. Mr. Klein brings more than 20 years industry experience in RF, engineering and executive leadership to TriQuint including key roles at both Raytheon SAS and Texas Instruments.

TriQuint Recognized Top Sales Reps & Distributors

TriQuint recognized the top sales representatives and distributors for their contributions to TriQuint's overall success in 2010. The nominees and winners were announced at the annual global sales conference. They were chosen by the executive sales team in recognition of their technical support, customer service, design wins and responsiveness to customers.

Congratulations to 'CFO of the Year' Steve Buhaly

Steve's leadership during TriQuint's meteoric growth earned accolades from The Portland Business Journal. Buhaly received the honor in the public company category at their annual awards program. "Steve Buhaly is a terrific role model for TriQuint. In addition, he is focused on ensuring high integrity and transparency in TriQuint's public reporting," said Ralph Quinsey, President and CEO.

TriQuint Named Corporate Philanthropist of the Year
TriQuint was the proud recipient of the "Corporate Philanthropist of the Year" award by the Oregon Chapter of the American Red Cross at their annual awards event in June. The award acknowledged TriQuint's contribution to the earthquake and tsunami relief efforts in Japan, a focused American Red Cross effort to save and rebuild lives for people impacted by the disaster.
