TriQuint Q2 2011 Revenue Up 10%
$228.8 million in Q2 revenue led to a 10% increase in non-GAAP net income over Q1 2011. Commenting on the results, Ralph Quinsey, President and Chief Executive Officer, said "Driven by strong demand in the smartphone market, we experienced 10% revenue growth over Q2 2010. Despite short term headwinds, TriQuint's long term growth story remains intact. Based on the current design wins and customer forecasts, I expect to return to strong revenue growth in Q4." |
TriQuint Appoints New Defense/Aerospace VP
James Klein was appointed Vice President and General Manager of Defense & Aerospace July 7, 2011. Mr. Klein will report to Ralph Quinsey, President and CEO. Mr. Klein brings more than 20 years industry experience in RF, engineering and executive leadership to TriQuint including key roles at both Raytheon SAS and Texas Instruments. |

TriQuint Named Corporate Philanthropist of the Year TriQuint was the proud recipient of the "Corporate Philanthropist of the Year" award by the Oregon Chapter of the American Red Cross at their annual awards event in June. The award acknowledged TriQuint's contribution to the earthquake and tsunami relief efforts in Japan, a focused American Red Cross effort to save and rebuild lives for people impacted by the disaster. |
