ZTE Corporation, a leading Chinese manufacturer of wireless communication system equipment, honored TriQuint with its 2010 "Supplier of the Year" award for the 4th consecutive year. ZTE's Supplier Award recognizes strategic suppliers' quality, delivery, cost and service performance. TriQuint provides ZTE with mobile phone power amplifiers across a range of standards including GSM / GPRS, EDGE, CDMA, WCDMA and TD-SCDMA. |
Celebrating New San Jose Design Center
TriQuint celebrated its expanded San Jose, CA design center on April 19th with a ribbon cutting & staff appreciation events. TriQuint moved from a 35,000 sq ft space to its new 52,000 sq ft facility that offers more dedicated lab & conference areas as well as room for up to 50% staff growth. The design center supports product development for many markets including networks infrastructure (base stations, CATV, WLAN & WiMAX) and mobile devices by designing & testing amplifiers, LNAs, VCOs, digital step attenuators, mixers & integrated modules. |
Response to Earthquake and Tsunami in Japan
In this globally connected world, everyone feels the impact of the disasters in Japan. TriQuint's employees, combined with a corporate match program, donated in excess of $64K to the Red Cross efforts to help alleviate suffering in Japan. To keep our customers apprised of any impact resulting from the devastating earthquake and tsunami, TriQuint has made an effort to provide timely updates on material supply status. At this point, there are no immediate production interruptions due to material suppy. However, we continue to closely monitor the situation particularly around logistics and key suppliers. Two New WLAN PAs Lead the Market
TriQuint's two new power amplifiers for WLAN connectivity lead the market since ramping to production last year. Both the single and dual-band PAs are designed to augment the WiLink™ 6.0 solution and recently launched WiLink 7.0 solution from Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI). The TQM679002A and TQP6M9002 offer faster data exchange rates, extended battery life, and better amplification of weak signals than competitive technologies. |

TriQuint announced two new products, TAT6254B for FTTH systems & TAT7457 for all-QAM / digital TV at CCBN. Packaged BTS Innovation Continues TriQuint's innovative base station portfolio continues to grow with three new, highly linear amplifiers offering a range of gain options across 50 MHz - 4 GHz. The TQP3M9006, TQP3M9018 and TQP3M9019 are low-noise, cascadable gain block amplifiers in 3x3mm QFN packages and are ideally suited for receive (Rx) or transmit (Tx) chains in base station, repeater and other RF systems.
