TriQuint Now Offers Complete RF Solution for Wireless Base Stations

HV-HBTAP631TriQuint recently announced two new HV-HBT RF transistors for 3G/4G base stations.  These highly linear, very efficient devices can act as two stages of a typical 3-stage base station amplifier design.  TriQuint released the first of its high-power HV-HBT transistors for 3G/4G base stations in October 2007; that device family fits into the final output stage.  TriQuint now offers a complete RF base station solution; work continues on expanding this product line.  New device announcements are expected later this year.

RF Power whiteTriQuint Expands Next-Gen Gain Block Family
Greater efficiency continues to drive the needs of network equipment manufacturers and TriQuint is pleased to announce a new addition to its 5V gain block amplifier family.  The WJA1021 is highly efficient and helps reduce electrical consumption.  The device is among the first to require no external matching components typical to other solutions; this can reduce customers' bills of materials.

ML485Integration Drives Innovation
TriQuint's new ML485 offers highly linear performance with an integrated gallium arsenide (GaAs) mixer and LO driver amplifier, all in an ultra-small MSOP-8 package.  The combination of these functions into one device continues the trend toward integration and modularization in networks infrastructure products.  TriQuint's newest device is also lead-free and RoHS compliant - making it a 'green' product for next-generation designs.

TGA2806Good Solutions - Now Even Better
The TGA2806-SM builds on the successful heritage of TriQuint's TGA2803-SM, offering excellent performance for cable infrastructure applications as a gain block / transimpedance amplifier.  With its high output and excellent linearity, the TGA2803-SM, comes in a standard 5x5mm QFN package and offers highly efficient thermal operation.  With excellent thermal performance, the new device can replace two similar amplifiers in conventional designs, thus reducing overall system costs and eliminating the need for extra matching circuitry while freeing PC board space.
