 JULY OPEN NETWORKING MEETING

Youth, Summer Jobs and Food

This summer several New York City organizations are building the next generation of leaders in the good food movement by training and employing young people as gardeners and farmers, food educators, and marketers of regional produce. At the July 13th FSNYC Open Networking meeting we'll be discussing how some of these programs operate, who they serve and the challenges they face. Our panel will include adult and youth representatives from Culinary Kids Farm, FamilyCook Productions, Added Value, Youthmarket and others.

Time: 12:30-2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 13th

Location: The Fund for the City of New York, 121 Avenue of the Americas, 6th Floor

Suggested donation: $5 for non-members, though no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Avoid the fee by joining now! Visit: http://foodsystemsnyc.org/joinnow.
