APRIL OPEN NETWORKING MEETING
Emerging
Perspectives on Food Systems Issues in The Bronx Please join us Tuesday, April 13th, to learn about the efforts of
advocates, non-profits and government working on addressing food systems
challenges in the Bronx.
Bronx Food Summit coordinator Regina Ginyard and organizer Jessica
Noon, a planner in the Office of Bronx Borough President Rubin Diaz,
will discuss the historic May conference and intended outcomes; FSNYC's
Maritza Owens of Harvest Home Farmers' Markets will speak on Bronx
market trends; and Theresa Landau, Morrisania WIC Director, will
represent the topic of the continuing importance of WIC and child nutrition programs.
Note that this month will mark the implementation of a $5 suggested
donation for non-members at Open Networking meetings, though no one will
