Mobile Food Pantries Expand to MN
| Ulen High School students volunteer time for their neighbors |
The Mobile Food Pantry program was launched in 2009 to serve our un or under-served rural communities across North Dakota. This week the Great Plains Food Bank expanded the program in Clay County Minnesota with food box distributions in Glyndon, Ulen and Barnesville MN. The boxes contain shelf-stable products like canned fruit & vegetables, pasta and sauces, cereal and snacks. To find a GPFB Mobile Food Pantry in your area click here. When asked what this food means to one Mobile Food Pantry recipient she replied, "Oh, the world. It means I get to eat today AND tomorrow. You are so special. Thank you." |
