Impacting Lives
April VolunteersThis week is National Volunteer Week, and we at the Great Plains Food Bank want to send a sincere thanks to all of you who have donated your time and energy in support of our mission to end hunger in ND and western MN.   Because of your gift of time which is the equivalent of more than 4 full time additional staff, allowing the Great Plains Food Bank to save substantial costs and allowing us to redirect our financial resources into distributing more food to those in need.  We couldn't do our important work without each and every one of you.  You are helping turn hunger into hope for those in our community who count on us.  To start volunteering now please click here.

Letter Carriers Deliver More Than Mail

Environmental & Social Responsibility
As we celebrate Earth Day 2011 we take the time to recognize our food industry partners. With their help the Great Plains Food Bank rescued nearly 7.5 million pounds of food in 2010 through our multiple food recovery efforts, diverting 5.7 million quality, nutritious meals from the local landfills.  Thank You!
