It's that time of year again when we see the end of the Botanical Interests and Lake Valley seed sales. What a season it has been for seed sales -- Botanical Interests sales have been up 14% in our territory with most retailers having anywhere from 5% increase to 316% increase in sales thanks to a fabulous week leading up to and including Mother's Day.
1) We get the reports every YTD sales reports every Friday and if you would like to know your $$ and %% I can get that to you.
2) As the season comes to a close, we will be closely monitoring the seed racks to get the varieties down to no more than 2-3 varieties per pocket to get your sell-through percentage increased. 3) Close out information from Botanical will start arriving sometime in the next few weeks and we'll start to schedule closeouts. For stores doing year round, 2013 seeds will be available starting July 5th so we can close out 2012 and put up 2013 in one easy transition.
