ROLLERBLADING
Saturday 5 April 11am-12noon
Venue: Outdoors at Silverknowes. Meeting at
parking area on Esplanade off Marine Drive, look out for the skate car
pictured right
Great
fun way to keep fit. Skating along the coast - beautiful views. All you
need is comfortable clothes, everything else is provided. The group will
be kept small. Absolute beginners welcome. Don at Try Skating is
a marvellous teacher. If you can't get to our session on Saturday give
him a call on 07733 276 902 to arrange a private lesson.

HILLWALKING - BEN VRACKIE, PITLOCHRY
Sunday 6 April 11am
Meeting point: Blair Atholl Distillery - next to
the A924 as it enters Pitlochry and just opposite a BP petrol station
Robin is leading this beautiful walk up Ben Vrackie, the hill situated above Pitlochry. It is about
2,800 feet, with a good path and magnificent views. It will take about 4
hours to climb. Robin climbed it on 30 March and there was a light
covering of snow from about 2,500 feet upwards. After
the walk we'll go for post-walk rejeuvenation at the Moulin Hotel. Proper walking boots and weather appropriate clothing required.

SALSA CLASSES
Wednesday 9 April 7pm
Venue: Harry's Bar, 7b Randolph
Place, West End
Fun
salsa classes for beginners - including absolute beginners - at 7pm and
intermediates at 8pm. Followed by freestyle dancing from 9pm.

FUN BIKE RIDE
Saturday 12 April 11am
Meeting Point:
outside Café Truva, The Shore, Leith
Don
(pictured far left on the same ride last year) will take us on the
coastal route from Leith to Cramond - approx 7km each way.
90% of
this ride is on a cycle path.
The ride takes approx 60-90mins each way. Do dress for
the weather and bring a bottle of water and perhaps even some nibbles if
you'd like a snack en route. You'll need to have, hire or borrow
a bike for this ride. A bike lock (for any stops) would also be

THE WEEK THAT WAS...
Don's bike ride in The Pentlands on Saturday 12 March looks fantastic. I just love that it was snowy in places and glorious sunshine in others. Don's next ride on Saturday 12 April (details above).
Rollerblading on Saturday 1 March went well too. I was away skiing that time so really looking forward to getting my skates this Saturday. If you would like to join us just reply to this email, absolute beginners welcome. Full details above.
Nordic Walking went well I hear on Sunday. Aerial Assault was terrifying yet strangely addictive! We'll be booking another session soon - it's a good way to get going on a Sunday.
Dinner at The Borough on Saturday was fabulous. It was very popular this time, apologies to those of you who we couldn't accommodate. The next date is Saturday 19 April.
