Dear Young Adults,
It is hard to believe that it is nearly Christmas and I am presenting you with the December Newsletter. I hope that this newsletter finds you well! Each region is planning a small gathering in the near future to celebrate the Christmas season. If you are interested, please contact your regional representative listed in the "Upcoming Events" box. The Christmas season is usually full of final exams and mad rushes on shopping malls, and sometimes we can forget that at the heart of this season is love and family. Know that as you gather at home with your families and friends, the Marist family, especially the Young Adults around the nation, will be keeping you in their prayers. I hope that you have a safe, joyful, and relaxing Christmas! Always, Matt Fallon Marist Young Adult Advisory Committee, Cha |

MEET
YA ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEMBER - KRISTEN LAUBACKER |
Kristen Laubacker
Catholic University
Graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes High School - Poughkeepsie, NY.
How did you get involved with Marist?
I got involved with Marist when I went on the Marist Youth Leadership Conference during my sophomore year in high school. From then on I was hooked. Why are you still involved with Marist?
I'm still involved with Marist through the Advisory Committee and the Encounter retreat team. I am and always will be involved with Marist, because I am Marist.
How do you live out your Marist identity now?
I live out my Marist identity now by working as a retreat leader and by being part of campus ministry at Catholic U. I do my best to be there for people and to do whatever is needed of me. | |
