April marked their 4th Anniversary in Downtown Downers
Is Celebrating 50 years in downtown Downers Grove. Gene Lyzun's father Walter purchased the shoe repair shop on June 1, 1962. Gene worked in the shop with his father, after school, on weekends and during the summer to learn the trade. In 1969 Gene joined the business full-time. Lyzun's Shoe Service has earned many accolades over the years for their excellent service and repairs. The Chicago Consumer Checkbook recently rated them 96 out of 100 for their professional service.
