Plymouth South Alumnus Missing in Afghanistan:

It has come to our attention that 2006 Plymouth South Graduate Ben Sherman has been reported missing in Afghanistan. Ben was on a mission when he went to assist a fellow solder Brendan, who was in a river retrieving some ammunition that was dropped to them during fighting. He began to struggle and Ben jumped in to help him. They were both swept down the river. Please keep Ben and Brendan in your thoughts and prayers.

South High School Happenings:

TONIGHT - Come to the first annual "Coffeehouse" presented by the music students from both PSHS and PNHS - 7:00 p.m. at Plymouth South - bring a coffee mug and enjoy the show!

Pink Wigs:
Check out the Old Colony Memorial to see the pink wigs from PSHS.  Plymouth South marketing students, Alison Galvin, Ashley Buker, and Samantha Runnels, raised awareness for breast cancer throughout the month of October.  For their community service project they sold pink wigs, cookies, pens, and hand crafted jewelry to staff and students.  The fifty pink wigs were worn by staff and students on Wednesday, October 28th.  The proceeds went to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.  Cosmetology helped out by styling the pink wigs for an extra cost, which also went to the foundation.  Thank you to all who participated and helped raise awareness for breast cancer.

Sports Update:
The girls soccer team and girls volleyball team have had wonderful seasons and have qualified for state tournament play.
