Greetings!
Let's get digital..... It is clear that social and business networking sites have penetrated our lives and they are here to stay. The news regularly reports on the social networking frontier as it changes from minute-to-minute. Although advances in technology can make our lives and jobs easier, we are also expected to produce more information and faster. In this edition, we share an article of interest that comments on how social networking sites may be another source for discoverable material, and we explain how you can utilize Custom's training center to help you brush up on your data entry and reporting skills. Please feel free to forward this newsletter to a friend by using any of the "forward to a friend" buttons located at the bottom of each section below. Welcome to our March newsletter!

Are Status Updates and Wall Posts Discoverable?
We use social and business networking sites for a variety of reasons such as to re-connect with old friends, market our services to new clients and search for new career opportunities. These sites contain electronically stored information which naturally bears the question as to the legal issues that may arise in connection with the content of such sites.
A recently published article in the New York Law Journal discusses how the rules of evidence may come into play with the information on social and business networking websites. This may create yet a new twist on electronic discovery and the rules of evidence seem to be working overtime to keep up.

Excel Training For Our Clients....
Changes in staffing
structures have resulted in increased work flow with fewer
professionals to take on greater responsibilities. Many of us are finding
that our job descriptions have changed and we are required to take on
new tasks. Several of our clients have indicated that they now have to produce their own reports using Excel, and have asked us where they could go for software training. Responding to our clients needs, Custom is pleased to offer complimentary Excel training classes to all of our clients. Class sizes are small and personal, and our in-house trainer David Streit will teach you the basics to help make your job easier. Classes are conveniently scheduled after close of business hours. Please call us today at 212-818-0300 to sign up.
