Jasmine, you will be missed!
After weeks of being hand fed, carried everywhere the people went, sleeping in bed with "Mom and Dad," and having warm spa treatments in the sink, Jasmine left her adorable physical rat body for her spirit journey. Her birth into spirit occurred in the early morning hours of November 22, 2011.
Jasmine had a beautiful life at the Rat Refuge, as the apple of Kim's eye. She could often be spotted riding on Kim's shoulder, greeting a visitor, or playing on Kim's cord-safe desk. She enjoyed good health into very old age, thanks to her organic vegan diet prepared daily with love.
Jasmine leaves behind her "parents" Kim and Jameth Sheridan, and an extended family and many friends who will miss her a great deal. We welcome her beautiful spirit back for visits at any time!

Kim's Note
| As the year draws to a close, I wish to thank all of you who have supported my work over the years. I also wish to acknowledge my awesome assistant, Ashley, who was greatly missed during her maternity leave. (As you may have noticed, there weren't any newsletters after she left last July!) I'm so delighted to have Ashley back in action -- and to have met her beautiful baby boy! Thanks, also, to my wonderful mom, who took care of the phone messages and other tasks (in addition to all that she does at HealthForce) in Ashley's absence. (While I'm at it, thanks to Dad for his help, too!) And, of course, I am grateful for all that my beloved husband, Jameth, does to support my many endeavors. It's truly been a busy year, launching so many new projects and continuing those begun long ago, including the Healthy Chick and Healthy Hunk projects, the Go Green Already! project, the Compassion Circle pet food line (coming in 2012 - better late than never!), the Shopping That Makes A Difference site, and of course Animals and the Afterlife. Book 2 is still in process, although I haven't had as much time to devote to it as I'd like. I've been in the pre-production stage of the Animals and the Afterlife film, which will likely come to fruition before the book does. Interviews will finally begin in 2012. (Again, better later than never!) I actually made my first few short films as a sort of "practice run" before embarking upon the feature-length Animals and the Afterlife film and other projects. These short films were made with a small budget, an even smaller crew, and very little time, so I didn't expect them to go very far. However, they've taken on a life of their own, and I had no idea I'd spend the past year on the film festival circuit. It's all been a lot of work, but a wonderful experience, and I look forward to many more adventures in the coming year! Stay tuned...

Greetings!
This holiday season, here at EnLighthouse, we are so thankful for our many blessings and for all of you! We would like to take this opportunity to show our appreciation for your support and interest in Kim Sheridan and her work over the years. Please consider the Animals and the Afterlife book discount below a show of our appreciation! [Photo to the right: Getting ready for the holiday season at the Rat Refuge!]
In this season of sharing, we would like to share with you the opportunity to view EnLighthouse Entertainment's first three films -- written, directed, and produced by Kim Sheridan. These films have been on the festival circuit, playing in theaters worldwide, for the past year. We thought it fitting to end the year with a grand finale...a festival open to the public via the Internet! See below for details. As we spend time with family and friends this holiday season, we remember and cherish those we love who have passed on. In so doing, our hearts go out to your families and the losses you have experienced. Let us all remember that our loved ones who have transitioned are still very much a part of us and will continue to send us strength and love over all the years of our lives. Let us celebrate them and each other in this festive time. In keeping with this celebration, you will find the eulogy of Jasmine, a very special member of Kim's family, in this newsletter. Jasmine lived a blessed life with Kim and will be sorely missed. I (Ashley) would like to take this opportunity to thank those of you who sent words or thoughts of congratulations upon hearing about the new addition to my family. My husband and I couldn't be happier that we are spending this holiday, and every day, with our healthy happy little boy. I wish I could introduce him to each and every one of you -- showing him what compassionate and loving people he shares the Earth with! My wish this holiday (and always) is that we all continue doing our part to take care of the Earth, and encourage others to do the same, so our little ones (furry little ones included!) can enjoy our beautiful planet now and into the future. In keeping with this sentiment, I've included some tips from the Earth Fairy * below.I welcome your feedback and comments in the form of a reply to this newsletter!
Wishing you all, and your families, wonderful health and peace of mind in the new year!
Sincerely, Ashley Bass
