Animals and

the Afterlife

For those of you who have not heard, Kim is now in the pre-production phase of a television series and feature-length film based on Animals and the Afterlife. We are excited to get this project moving and look forward to devoting more time to it in the very near future. Kim has not yet made final decisions on story submissions, but when those decisions are made, we will notify all contributors. We greatly appreciate all the contributions from those of you who have submitted stories.

We are still accepting stories from contributors who have had an afterlife communication.

News from Kim Sheridan & EnLighthouse
Greetings!

You are receiving this message because you've signed up for Kim Sheridan's newsletter in the past. We thank you for your interest and welcome any feedback or questions you may have. As always, we promise to never spam you and will only send you news updates for the subjects you chose when you signed up.

As many of you know, EnLighthouse Entertainment was founded by Kim Sheridan, author of Animals and the Afterlife. EnLighthouse produces films and other media about animals, health, the environment, and other subject matter that can profoundly affect our lives. Go Green Already! is one of Kim's newer projects dedicated to raising awareness for environmental issues and raising awareness generally.

Kim puts an immense amount of energy into making the world a more aware and compassionate place. Recently, this energy has been channeled in a number of different directions, and we are writing today to update you on some of the resultant projects that Kim is working on. In this newsletter, I will discuss some things for you to enjoy now -- such as a film screening at a festival in your area -- or things for you to be involved with in the future, such as the forthcoming film based on Animals and the Afterlife or the eco-friendly online store due to launch May 14th. I will go into a little more detail about the various goings-on at EnLighthouse and those that pertain to Go Green Already! and Animals and the Afterlife in what follows.

Wishing you all a happy and healthy spring!

Sincerely,

Ashley Bass

Plight of the Earth Fairy

Plight of the Earth Fairy Image

Living in the shadow of the Tooth Fairy,

the Earth Fairy has an identity crisis and seeks professional help.

Plight of the Earth Fairy tackles some of the more controversial issues in today's environmental crisis, and it does so through humor and lighthearted entertainment. Kim Sheridan founded EnLighthouse with the goal of spotlighting important and often obscure issues that affect us and our world but are often overlooked or altogether unknown. It is Kim's intention to inspire new ways of thinking, and to effect positive change, through humor and the power of film. Kim feels that film is a very powerful tool of change, and this film is one of her first efforts in that regard.

What's Up?

What's Up Collage

A small film crew looks up at the sky and contemplates

what's really going on with our environment.

This film was created as part of the 2010 International Documentary Challenge, in which a short non-fiction film had to be written, filmed, and produced within a five-day period. First-time documentary filmmaker Kim Sheridan accepted this challenge, but took it one step further. She chose to do it all with a crew of only two: herself and her husband.

What's Up? tackles one of the more controversial (and virtually unheard of) issues in today's world, and it does so not by preaching or making demands but by asking questions and suggesting actions. The goal is to inspire viewers to learn more, pay attention, take responsibility, and get involved. It's just a small film, but the information it presents has the potential to make a big difference.
