NAKED IN NEW HOPE ONCE AGAIN |
| |
New Hope Sidetracks Art Gallery proudly announces its Sixth Annual Naked in New Hope exhibition, a major group show celebrating the facts and foibles of the human body; beginning with Opening Receptions on Saturday and Sunday evenings, September 15 and 16, 2012 and extending through November 3, 2012. On Saturday evening, from 6 to 9 PM, as in previous years, the portion of Stockton Avenue directly in front of the Gallery will be closed to traffic during the reception for the safety of the opening night crowd, and to provide space for outdoor refreshments and conversation. As in 2011, there will be two venues on Stockton Avenue: the usual Sidetracks Gallery and an annex next door on the first floor of New Hope Arts.

Delaware River Scenic Byways News |
| |
You may or may not be aware of the Delaware River Scenic Byway [DRSB] Committee and charter that was signed earlier this year. Many of the chambers met with committee members earlier in the year to discuss it's goals and activities, among which one includes the creation of a Delaware River Scenic Byway Guide, which has a primary goal of letting the visitors find out about various local business and things to do. The guide will become available in October 2012 and be available through September 2013. It will include maps, calendars, other information as well as local business listings. The guides will be distributed through the Delaware River communities and in the Bucks County Herald.
A business listing is a great value at only $50.00 per listing for the entire year. This includes the listing both in the guide and on-line. I've attached a copy of the DRSB newletter which has the registration form listed as page 3. The deadline has been extended for an additional week to 9/7/12 to allow those businesses that may have missed participating from being busy with the summer traffic.
We wanted to make every opportunity to give businesses on both sides of the Delaware River Scenic Byway the best opportunity to be in the guide and benefit from the visibility. Thank you in advance for your anticipated assistance. Of course should there be any questions, they are best directed to the DRSB office 215.317.3994 or should any one be interested in being a sponsor of the guide please also contact Edie on 215.317.3994.
