The New Hope Automobile Show will return to the Philadelphia International Auto Show on January 28 - February 5, 2012 to exhibit three spectacular classic cars: a 1963 Mercedes-Benz 190 SL, the coveted Porsche 959 and 1 1941 Oldsmobile Station Wagon. In a Gotham-like city, a terrible water shortage, caused by a 20-year drought, has led to a government-enforced ban on private toilets. The citizens must use public amenities, regulated by a single malevolent company that profits by charging admission for one of humanity's most basic needs. Amid the people, a hero decides he's had enough, and plans a revolution to lead them all to freedom!

Karla's Restaurant
The Place To Be Monday Nights
Local's Night Menu
A staple of New Hope for more than 30 years, Karla's Restaurant still hasn't missed a beat. Brainchild of New Hope entrepreneur, Louis Zanias, Karla's has been offering their Local's Night- every Monday, fifty-two weeks a year, for 25 years. "It's definitely one of our most popular nights- where as most restaurants close Mondays, we are always bustling" boasts longtime manager Cynthia Meyers about the concept she helped conceive.
On Local's Nights, a full three course dinner is offered and affordably priced from $12-$19. Though the price points seem retro- the offerings are anything but dull. A favorite that has earned a permanent spot on the menu is Karla's Famous Fried Chicken with Baked Mac and Cheese. Other options include roasted pork loin, grilled flat iron steaks, pasta and plenty of fresh seafood. To keep the concept fresh, Head Chef Francisco "Pancho" Barrios changes the menu every week and holds off on announcing what will be on the menu until just minutes before it's available.
The historic building has a casual, relaxing atmosphere with open air seating on the terrace and inviting indoor dining. Karla's serves an American Fusion menu with a bistro feel, a complete wine list and specialty oversized fresh fruit martinis using only the freshest ingredients available.
In addition to the delicious food and cocktails, Karla's also offers live music. Local favorite, Barry Peterson is known for his expansive repertoire from the swing era to classic rock'n roll and he happily takes requests. Music is from 7 - 9pm every Monday.

PEACE MEAL every Third Sunday of the Month...
"You are cordially invited to join us in an afternoon of friendship, light
entertainment, and great food prepared by
Tuscany at the Towpath House~New Hope.
"Peacemeal" is for all of those impacted by HIV/Aids, and is sponsored
by multiple congregations in Bucks County. We meet on the third Sunday
of the month, beginning at 3:30 PM. From September through May,
the venue is the church hall at Trinity Episcopal Church in Solebury
(6587 Upper York Road, Solebury).
During July and August, the gathering is at Trinity Buckingham
(2631 Durham Road, Buckingham).
