Basin Street is a musically diverse, high energy band, that features experienced jazz and blues musicians, music educators, and performers with extensive professional experience with local, regional and national artists. Basin Street prides itself on interactive performancesusing a traditional Jazz lineup of musicians (3 horns & 4 rhythm instruments). The band's repertoire includes music by Louis Armstrong, ragtime Scott Joplin, Preservation Hall, Dr. John, Rebirth and Dirty Dozen Brass Bands, Cajun/zydeco music, plus much more.
