Loni needs our help                                                  28 Apr 2012
Greetings!

Loni 'Akolo is one of our ministry leaders in the Islands.
Loni has been with Pacific Partners a long time. He's responsible for the follow-up and pastoral care of our radio listeners, as well as our discipleship groups and developing local leaders of those groups.

Loni has a problem and he's asking for our help . . .

New radio studio for Tonga

Last year I wrote about the need to replace our old wooden studio building in Tonga.

Not much has has happened since then, but recently we were donated roofing timber, aluminium joinery and bathroom/ kitchen fittings.

A very generous donation!

So it looks like our project is under way. The next step is to draw up proper plans for a building permit, and to find space to put a 40' container in Auckland for a few weeks, so we can gather other building materials ready for shipment to Tonga.

I'll write and tell you more as this develops.

Loni's notebook computer is broken

It's 6 years old and can't be repaired

visiting and counselling people, teaching on the radio, running one of the several discipleship groups he leads personally, training our group leaders - he's at home studying. Getting ready to go out and do all those things again.

  • Research on the internet
  • Planning and writing Bible study lessons
  • Recording his teaching onto CDs for mailing
  • Email contact with New Zealand . . .

These are all the things Loni does on his notebook computer - at least he used to!

Now he can't do them, unless we help him replace his old notebook.

We can buy Loni a new notebook computer for $500 (USD and AUD. $600 NZD) and get it hand-carried to Tonga (to avoid freight costs). This is a sale price, available until next Monday (Apr 30).

Would you please consider contributing
to a
new notebook for Loni?

If we can raise $500 by Monday
we will save a lot of money and Loni's work can continue with minimum down-time.

Thank you for considering this

In this case,

Thank you again.

May God bless you.
