Tonga's first radio fundraiser
This week (10-13 December) staff of Letio Faka- Kalisitiane 93FM are holding their first on-air fundraiser.

For 3 days staff will broadcast testimonies, and messages from some local pastors and leaders about the importance of the radio ministry in Tonga.

And listeners will be encouraged to donate to the radio station.

Most people in Tonga give to their church as directed, and the idea of "free will" support for the Lord's work outside of their own church program is new.

Please pray
for a succesful
fundraiser

(This was planned before the Holy Spirit started touching so many lives in Tonga. It'll be interesting to see how listeners respond during this time of revival.)

Please consider
making your own

Sia's email from Tonga . . .
"We see revival and restoration here . . !"

"Dear GrahamSia is a full-time worker at Christian radio 93FM in Tonga
We praise the Lord for what He is doing right now in the Kingdom thruough the Christian Radio Station. If I'll share a testimony about what I see happen at the Radio Station now I would say that this is very different and special compare to the last two years that Ive been entered this station.

So many people call and join with us in our programme even day and night. We cant count the people Graham and we see revival and restoration here in Tonga
. . ."
More than a week after this revival started
Willy tells me
  • Many listeners are still phoning in with tears of repentance and joy
  • 10 to 20 people a day are making a public commitment over the radio, to follow Jesus Christ
  • Listeners are going to Willy's home looking for help
  • Some community leaders and their family members have been phoning to pray on air or tell about their personal faith in Jesus Christ
  • The government TV station interviewed Willy and Setita. (I met Setita in prison a few weeks ago. A guard called her "The one woman crime-wave" and her testimony of how she came to Christ in prison, through our ministry, helped spark this revival. I'll share her story with you in the next Tok Tok.)
  • The government TV station is broadcasting a program every afternoon this week to highlight the ministry of Letio Faka-Kalisitiane 93FM
And I got a second exciting email from Willy last week
Thank you for praying
And thank you for emailing Willy and the staff

He told me the staff are very encouraged to know that brothers and sisters from around the world are rejoicing with them, and praying for them, and for Tonga at this time.

Please keep praying for this special work of the Holy Spirit in Tonga. And pray for our workers at the radio station.

Most of all
please pray this supernatural work of God
will continue touching many lives
in Tonga
and will spread to our radio listeners in other
South Pacific countries as well.
Even so, come Lord Jesus!
Revive the people of the Islands
who are so hungry for You
Graham Carter is CEO of UCB Pacific Partners I'll email again soon with more about Tonga.
