Greetings in Jesus' Name!
I got this email from Tony last night.
"Finally I
found out that the parts were sitting at the customs in Port Moresby waiting to
be cleared, and sent to Wewak,
Anywhere thanks for your
help, so we should be receiving them by this time next
week.
Once again a BIG THANKYOU to you and all those who stood with us in
prayer... You all played a very significant roll and you all are part of what
happening here.
Love you all."
Tony got over 60 emails after my last Tok Tok!
The internet in Wewak is extremely slow and intermittent, so Tony can't answer you personally.
But he did send me a message to pass on to you . . . "Hello everyone
You may never know how those e-mails you sent did to me,
I felt tears streaming down my eyes as I went through each of those letters
you sent carefully,I didn't just read them but I felt like swallowing
them, literally I felt the comfort of God presence all around me.
I felt that I was not alone.
It gives me a picture that I have partners all around the world standing
with me in this situation holding me up.
You all are blessings.I don't know what would I do with out all your
prayers supports.and encouragements.Thank God almighty for you all.
Being in a situation like this is totally new to me, the thoughts to quite
has overshadowed me, all I though was to leave every thing and find something
else to do, or walk away from this ministry.
Your message are timely, your prayers are doing the work here. Once again on behalf of the team here in wewak PNG, thank you so much for
lifting us up in your prayers.
Love and Blessings from all of us here.
Tony and all the staffs"
And let me add my thanks to you as well.
Thank you for emailing. Thank you for praying.
Please don't stop praying just yet -
it'll be another week before those parts actually arrive, then Tony has to install them and get the transmitter working again.

Some have asked me about . . . Tony Dua's story How he met Jesus Christ and got into Christian radio
|
|
"I didn't got saved from a crusade or at a church service, All I
can remember is I was with some of my friends near the road, when a man came
by and share the word of God with me and my friends and then asked us, do you
want to except Jesus as your Lord and saviour? "We said yes", that's where I
made the dicision to acept Jesus and that was in 1995,
In the year 1997 I went to did my Dicipleship Training School with youth with a mission , after I felt God
was leading me to work with some kind of a Media ministry, but I did not know
where to start and whom to work with.
In the year 1998 I came across an
American Missionary named Bill Chambers,He asked me " what do you want to do
with your Life"? I said "I felt God has called me into
some kind of a Media or radio ministry, but I don't know where to start". He
took me to the Local radio station in Mt Hagen, a radio run by the Government,
He helped me start a thirty minutes radio program which I did. That came on air
every Sunday evenings the Program was called Youths Music Alive, the program is
a youth targeted, I got some very good response from listeners. As the program
continue... Bill left for Wewak to start up a Christian radio.
Then in 2003 I had a dram, I heard a
voice calling my name, I didn't saw anyone, but the voice said " we are now
recruiting you to work with United Kingdom" in a moment they gave me some
military uniform and I saw my shelf wearing them, I woke up and realized that I
had a dream.
Gram at that time I had no Idea about UCB Pacific Partners, so I thought It was some kind of a dream,But now I come to
understand that God has called me to work with you,
"Praise be to God" Isaiah 46:10, says He makes know the end from the
beginning"
Bill started the
radio and then asked me to help him out, so I came over to wewak to help him,
and from there the Lord Lead me to meet Gram and Pacific Partners which we are
now.
My vision for the ministry is to reach
out to the young people my nation, who are into rascalism [rascals are criminal youth gangs found in the towns of PNG] drugs and other
wicked activities, I was once in their shoes and I know how to communicate the
kind of language, If God did it for me, I believe he will do the same for them
also.
I strongly believe we can use radio as a tool for evangelism
and dicipleship .
And diciple them with the word of God, I like the idea of bible study you have help set up in Tonga [Radio Bible School - listener study groups in people's homes]. We will use the same method here, there are many who have
professed faith in Jesus and we need to diciple them with the word of God,"
God bless you Tony We are thrilled you are part of the UCB Pacific Partners ministry family.
May God bless you and use you mightily to reach the young people of PNG through Christian radio
